Cold Cutting Systems

The Jetcut abrasive water cutting system as operated by Dyna-Jet gives a spark-free cutting alternative to conventional cutting methods. Through a continuing process of engineering innovation, the system can make accurate clean cuts in pipework, tanks, piles and structural steel. The process is equally at home in a refinery where explosive environments preclude hot cutting and hundreds of metres underwater cutting a riser or platform leg. The cuts are made remotely with no exposure for the personnel involved. A large variety of cutting tools and manipulators have been developed to make shaped cuts for special purposes.

Cold Cutting
The cutting of tanks containing potentially explosive gas is successfully completed using the Jetcut system. Use of the remote manipulator ensured that all personnel were clear of the work both during the cut and when the cut end was detached.	Tank Cutting
Steel Piles Cutting	Jetty piles cut using jetcut system. These 30" diameter, 1" thick steel piles were cut internally, below the mudline using the jetcut internal manipulator.
